Color And Polish Water Based Colored Varnish is an alkyd modified water based, transparent and colored exterior varnish developed to protect wooden surfaces against atmospheric effects. Practical to use with its single component structure; provides high resistance to UV rays, rain, humidity and temperature changes. Creates a flexible and semi-matte film on the surface after application.
Product Features
Color And Polish offers long-term protection with an aesthetic appearance in outdoor wood applications. Thanks to the special pigments in its formula, it adds color without damaging the natural texture of the wood and delays fading caused by sunlight. With its breathable structure, it allows the wood surface to release water vapor; at the same time, it protects the surface against water penetration. It penetrates the surface well and does not cause flaking or cracking.
Surface Preparation and Application
Before application, the surface must be completely dry, dust-free and oil-free. If necessary, the surface should be sanded and the cleaning process completed. If there are old varnish residues, it is recommended to remove them completely.
In order to increase surface protection, it is recommended to use a compatible wood primer before application. The varnish should be applied with a brush or short-hair roller in 2-3 coats. The first coat should be diluted with 10-15% water to better penetrate the surface, and subsequent coats should be applied without dilution. At least 24 hours should be waited between coats.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The brushes and equipment used can be easily cleaned with water. Cleaning should be done before the product starts to dry during application.
Color And Polish Water Based Clear Varnish
Color And Polish Water-Based Transparent Varnish is a transparent, glossy and environmentally friendly surface coating product based on acrylic emulsion that provides protection without damaging the natural appearance of wood. It supports the breathing of wood and offers long-term aesthetic and physical protection with its yellowing-resistant structure.
Product Features
This water-based varnish reflects the natural texture and color of the wood as it is, providing an aesthetic result. It penetrates the surface without forming a film layer and allows the wood to pass water vapor. It does not yellow, prevents moisture formation, does not peel or crack. It provides reliable protection against external environmental conditions thanks to its excellent water repellency. It shortens the labor time with its fast drying feature.
Application Information
Before application, the surface must be dry, clean and sanded. If Color And Polish Wood Care Product has been applied, varnish should be applied after a minimum of 4 hours.
It should be applied with a brush or roller in at least 2, if necessary 3 coats. The first coat should be diluted with 5-10% water, and 3-4 hours should be waited between coats. In spray applications, 10-20% thinning is recommended.
During application, the product may create a milky white appearance on the surface; however, once it has dried, a completely transparent, glossy film layer is formed.
Consumption
Depending on the structure and absorbency of the wood, approximately 11–16 m² of area can be covered in a single coat with 1 litre of product.
