Stone Stop Spraying Method

Step 1

For best results, ensure that the aggregates to be processed are clean and dry. For ideal results, we recommend using a stone with a diameter of 4 mm to 8 mm. If the surface will receive foot traffic, the maximum size is 10 mm.

Step 3

We recommend using 1/2 litre of resin per m2 in this application method. You can cover 10 m2 of area with 5 litres of TaşStop in one coat. We recommend applying 2 coats for the best result. In spray applications, there will be a problem with the resin reaching the lower parts. The first coat should be applied with the mixing method. If there is no mixer in the environment, the stones should be mixed by turning them upside down with a rake after spraying and spraying and mixing should be continued until there is no unadulterated area on the aggregate surfaces. It should be ensured that 24 hours are left between the 1st and 2nd coats, and only the spraying process should be carried out without mixing in the 2nd coat.

    Step 2

TaşStop can be applied using a standard garden pump sprayer. TaşStop is poured into the sprayer and sprayed homogeneously by directing the pressure onto the surface.

    Step 4

Be careful not to apply TaşStop in harsh weather conditions and in weather where there is a possibility of rain. Rain falling before it dries will wash TaşStop away and weaken its strength. It should be noted that TaşStop continues to gain strength for up to 5 days after application. Care should be taken not to splash TaşStop in areas where it is sprayed, and masking should be done in areas where there is a possibility of splashing. In addition, gloves, protective glasses and clothing should be worn against splashes or spills for work safety.
